On Sunday, June 22, 2025, in the third and final qualifying round of the Confederation of North, Central American, and Caribbean Associations (CONCACAF) Gold Cup, our Grenadiers faced the United States Yankees on the pitch at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (USA) in their third and final group match, where they suffered a defeat and were eliminated from the competition.

Summary :

In the 10th minute, Malik Tillman opened the scoring for the USA with a diagonal header from a Brenden Aaronson cross.

Don Deedson Louicius took advantage of a poorly handled ball by the American goalkeeper to score the equalizer in the 19th minute [1-1] with a left-footed shot from the right side of the penalty area.

The score remained unchanged at halftime.

After the break, the Grenadiers struggled to find their game against the "Yankees," who controlled the ball for over 20 minutes before Patrick Agyemang extended the lead for the USA in the 75th minute [2-1] with a left-footed shot from a tight angle, after going around Placide.

Haiti was eliminated and forced to exit the competition by the back door with only 1 point out of a possible 9 and ranked 4th and last in Group D.

A frustrating outcome considering the overall level of the opponents they faced.
